Department of Aquaculture

It aims to cultivate well-trained specialists in aquaculture, improve aquaculture technique in industry and raise the academic standards. The Department provides the theory and practice in aquaculture, and cultivates students to become specialists or talents in aquaculture and biotechnology.

The department was established in 1974, and offered a master's degree in 1987. In 1991, the bachelor’s degree separated into two classes due to the increases number of students. In 1992, we offered doctoral class. The only department in Taiwan that offering bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree in aquaculture.
