The College created Program of Biotechnology in 2000 and Program of Marine Biodiversity in 2003. We encourage students attend the cross-disciplinary course so as all the bachelor students in the second year have eligible for admission to this intended program. After completed 24 credits before graduation, the students will be eligible for the program’s certificate. The program’s features:
- The program course has two stages, "Study" and "Certificate". Students who have not obtained the "Study" qualification cannot apply for the "Certificate" application.
- We encourage students attend the cross-disciplinary course so as all the bachelor students in the second year have eligible for admission to this intended program. The students whose waiver is approved could minimize credit hour per semester requirement while the course has same title.
- After completed 24 credits before graduation, the students will be eligible for the program’s certificate. In the end of 2015, there are 171 students (Program of Biotechnology) and 197 (Program of Marine Biodiversity) have been awarded certificates.
- If the student has not completed the requirement credit of the program, it does not affect the bachelor degree before graduation. Students may choose either to abandon the program or continue the course during the master’s degree.
- The application of program will be start from August and reviewed in April and July of the following year. The processing time is good enough and sufficient.
- If students are interested in obtaining these programs, they could take some courses to have the qualification of applying the certificate in advanced.
